Old style techno meets dance, meets billy powell, meets "the doors" and other influences of mine. this is another one from the improv gallery. this was played on a kurzweil pc88mx, and recorded using a zoom mrs8 on four tracks. i came up with this in 1986, and first played it using some old dinosaurs like the roland jx3p, korg 707, and moog synthesizer. the version here is a lot more digital, but it's fun and very easy to play and jam with. comments are welcome. (be nice).

Sounds clear and nice. I have a Yamaha multitrack recorder. It is an MT4X. It is old. I got it in the 90's. Sometimes I just have trouble getting my music not to be louder than me or me louder than my music. If I hook an old keyboard up to it, that's when I have trouble. If I hook a new keyboard up to it, the music sound blends better with me. I have old stuff and new stuff. I don't know. Maybe the new stuff is better in sound.

I have played with some very old keyboards, and if you go to am music store you can ask for a "direct box." That will bring all of your levels to the right match. They usually run about $30 bucks on the high side, and you will have a choice between xlr inputs and 1/4''.
